Structural
Marine was initially formed in 1980 to service the then buoyant
marine industry but quickly diversified into heavy platework
fabrication for the mining and offshore industries as well as
continuing to build a reputation as one of Australia's best
and longest established commercial boat builders.
The company has an enviable record for quality workmanship and
ontime deliveries to suit our clients requirements.
The name Structural Marine often imparts a false belief that
our expertise lies solely in the marine boatbuilding area, this
is not correct as a large proportion of our production experience
is in the mining and offshore oil industry which can be attested
to by the range of jobs successfully undertaken for clients
such as Hamersley Iron, Iluka, Coflexip, Woodside and BHP Petroleum
to name a few.
Our staff are specialists in their field and will go out of
their way to fulfil the clients requirements.
We are strategically located on a high wide road transport corridor
just a few kilometres from the recently established Australian
Marine Complex facility which can accommodate heavy lift ships
for loadout and delivery of large components and modules.
